Big News!

I finally found my mentor! His name is Mr. Eric Phillips and he is a mechanical engineer who is a plant manager right now. I know he will definitely be able to help guide and help me through my final product. Although I will not be doing in-person mentor visits I will still be able to do virtual meetings. Currently, I am still in the research phase of my project, but I plan to actually start building pretty soon. With anaerobic digestion, it requires wastes to produce methane so I will need to start pretty soon so that the wastes will be able to decompose and produce methane. I still need to do more research on the topic since there are many factors and I want to be able to start it as soon as I can. Furthermore this week I will need to adjust my schedule if there are any potential delays that may occur. This week I plan on starting my sketch for my design and figuring out if it will be able to work and finding parts that may need to be fixed or adjusted. My project is definitely a challenge, but as long as I stay on task I should be able to accomplish it.
